About TNWISE

The Tamil Nadu Centre of Excellence for Advanced Manufacturing (TANCAM) is proud to host the Women’s Hackathon as part of TNWISE-2025 (TANCAMs hackathon for Women in Science and Engineering), continuing its successful editions from 2023 and 2024. This initiative reflects TANCAM's commitment to fostering gender inclusivity, innovation, and entrepreneurship in STEM fields while aligning with Tamil Nadu's broader vision of empowering women in science, technology, and engineering. Building on last year's remarkable success where over 3,200 women students from 250+ colleges presented 1,106+ projects and won a total cash prize of 12 lakh. TNWISE-2025 aims to be an even more impactful platform for aspiring women innovators. This year, the hackathon will be conducted at TANCAM Spoke Centres across Tamil Nadu, providing participants with a collaborative space to develop and showcase their groundbreaking ideas. With an impressive prize pool of 19.2 Lakhs, TNWISE 2025 promises to inspire and support the next generation of women leaders in STEM.
